Nota d'uso
Il sostantivo “tappo” (di bottiglia o simili) viene tradotto in diversi modi, ma non con tap, che significa “rubinetto”. Se si tratta di bottiglie di vino, in genere si usa il sostantivo cork (tappo di sughero): I can't find the cork, non trovo il tappo. Nel caso di bottiglie di acqua, birra o latte, si utilizzano cap o top, e talvolta lid, anche se questo sostantivo generalmente indica il tappo o coperchio di contenitori più larghi: Where is the lid of the honey jar?, dov'è il coperchio del barattolo di miele?
